What is hybrid about the scout? It looks like the frame is bigger then the body....

It's a Scout body on a shortened K30 frame, 454BB, SM465 203/205 Doubler, D60/14BFF, 52F/56R, 39.5 TSL's

Joe wanted more room to carry people than his truck cab provided plus the scout body in narrower and less bulky... and biggest thing, he had a scout 2 and traveller at his disposal.
Kinda crazy seeing Joe's old beater pulling Bill's high zoot rig.

That sthe same reason I'm starting to consider doing a body swap to a Blazer body instead of a pickup - there's just not enough room in the cab for me, my wife, our dog, and our lunch, let alone a passenger or 2.

Joe was pulling on Bill because Bill couldn't get the traction to get the other guy out, so it was a 3-way pull.
