I was going to post about that one... but I'll go ya one better... the K5 the russians drove up in when they were taking some pic's up on the mountain. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I know I have to know some more.....

Anyone mention Ted Dansons Z71 in that movie with him and Whopie Goldberg, where he was the car saleman?

How about the big a$$ IFS GM that was the "target" for the laser guided missle in that Harrison Ford flick.. can't think of the name right now.. it also had William Dafoe (CIA tye flick).

Riggs drives a Dually in the first couple Lethal Weapons, and a Z71 in the last one i think.

OK, this will probably be the last one for me...

I have been trying to think of the name of the movie... but it aint gonna happen. It was a mid-80's or so B flick about a family that moves to a remote mountain community. Typical storyline... they have some trouble with some local dudes... maybe a father & sons team /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif anyway, in that flick they terrorize this family, mainly the son I think, and they drive a late 70's truck with a little too much lift for the tires. It's been many years since I have seen it.

im not sure of the movie but it has mel gibson in it and he has a badly scared face from a fire? and he teaches a kid, anyway he drive some sort of blazer i think, its been awhile /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

Clear And Present Danger, based on the Tom Clancy novel. (Dammit, Alec Baldwin IS Jack Ryan ... though Ben Affleck ain't bad.)

And yeah, that musta been one of those armored Suburbans.

there's several nice gm's in dazed and confused.
there's a full convertible /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif in desperado.

75 K5 Blazer in swamp thing. Referred to as a Jeep buy one of the lame actor bad guys. After being stopped by the swamp thing its magically transformed into I believe an International Harvester.

Haha, the black 2wd Pickup in Dazed and Confused that chased the dorky kids in their station wagon. The 76ish blue and white 2 tone one the older girls use to drive the freshman into the carwash in that movie as well. Basically any car in that movie is bada$$. Period

The first Hills have Eyes the family rolls a Suburban when one of them mutated fellas throws out a spike strip.

What can I say, I rarely have a day off and don't really know what to do with them when I do. Occupational hazard.

8 pages and nobody mentioned the '73-'75 K5 from Midnight Run?

I couldnt remember the movie name to that one, I knew it was D'Niro and Charles Grodin though. Great movie for sure. Carnage everywhere in that chase scene.
