Just jump into it. I go thru spells where I wont touch my truck for months and then all of a sudden I get ideas. I get a TO DO list, even if its just ideas that may not happen, I put this list together from the simplest of tasks to the extreme and work on them as I can.
You can usually tell when Im working on my Blazer, there will be a few posts in the Garage asking questions, lol. You really have to look at the end results.
I want to replace my dash and redo some of the gauges in my pod on the dash and replace the dash speakers. Not a hard task just time consuming, I dont look forward to it, but I know the results will be kick ass and something I can be proud of.
Just dont give up. Ive got a buddy that bought his K5 before I did, his motor went out on him, he yanked the motor and rebuilt it, got it running and forgot one of the lil freeze plugs up front, so he tore down the motor to replace the bearings and the motor has been sitting on the stand for about 5-6 years now. The BLazer sat outside with all the windows down and in pieces. He lost motivation to work on the K5 and will just use the motor for something else and scrap the Blazer. It has a newly rebuilt tranny too. oh well. I can see how these things happen when you get busy and lose interests.
