also just noted that Tim mentioned an .080" quench. do your best to keep it around .035-.045. doing so will up your compression slightly, while also making the engine less detonation prone. i would recomend milling the deck to .015+ and running a .025" head gasket. this will leave you with plenty of meat on the deck surface for future machine work if needed.
