can you run those johny joint on both ends of your shackle and maybe on the other end of the spring also?

how does it act in a curve with those? does the truck try and lean over?

The eaton and the 14 bolt are very similar, think if the eaton as the 14 bolts grandaddy..

Im sure you could, alcan makes springs with joints mounted in the spring eye..

In a curve it acts like a lifted k5 rolling on 42s.... not a sportscar... you get used to the lean and actually get to where you just dont hardly notice it.

I'm a big Eaton axle fan. I have one parted out in my garage and am always looking for more.

They are VERY similar to the 14bolt. Infact you can make a Hybrid "Eaton-14" where you use the Eaton housing for strength and clearance and 14bolt internals for availability of parts and strength of the axles.

The biggest problem with running one is finding parts for the brakes. A 14bolt disc brake swap will also work on the Eaton.
