Movie trucks/vehicles we would like to build

is there really much special about that truck????

the Dante's peak burb is identifiable, I don't see that so much with this truck???

Yeah it doesn't stick out to everybody. I would immediately think "Red Dawn" when I saw it but I wouldn't necessarily know that it was a clone on purpose. Maybe if you could make the "Wolverines" graffiti into a window sticker, or paint it on the tailgate it would be a little more of a giveaway.

I wrote them. They can't make a unit to go between the sm465 and a tcase.

Yeah, why cany they mount between the tranny and bellhousing,so that you could use one in a 4x4 in both 2 and 4 wheel drive..yes,you'd have to shorten the driveshafts and move the crossmember, but its not that big a deal..

Or am I halluicinating,I'm thinking there IS such a unit already being made that mounts there?..:dunno:

I've always liked the coolness and simplicity of the car from 'Sometimes they come back'

Whats the movie with the kids who buy a crappy studebaker looking car and lift it up like 4 feet? It's a bad/wacky 80s movie.

Found it. O.C. and Stiggs

The '55 in Two Lane Blacktop (not the way it looked in American Graffiti).

There's a guy who goes to some of the locall car shows by me who has a car just like this! Even has the sawed off shotgun sitting in the center console. His buddy has the yellow/blue police car from the 1st Mad Max movie too

Melba Toast'd look fine sitting in my driveway....

or this'd be cool too....

A stock 70 SS Chevelle 454 4 speed or stock 69 Judge wouldnt hurt my feelings at all.

Don't get me wrong, I love those cars (The Judge was a '70 though, not a '69), it's just that no one is going to see a black and white 1970 SS454 and think you were trying to make a Dazed and Confused replica.
