MUCV(Multi-Purpose Utility Command Vehicle)...The Dirtybus...

Looks good, but you need to do something about the color of the awning hardware. The white clashes with you od....

There's a guy here locally that cuts vinyl stickers... He's vendor on a local forum and I won a give away he did for shock wraps... He's got a bunch of different designs or you can have him cut out letters... Basically you wrap these things around the body of your shocks and it makes them look custom...

Well, I've talked to him about making them for the legs of the awning instead... We're working out the details, but the should end up matte black with "Multi-Purpose Utility Command Vehicle" cut out of them... Thinking I'll spray them with the green, then the sticker over that so the words will show through in green...

I'll also have him cut the "MUCV" for the front and back...

Looks Great! i know if i bought one it would just sit and rot but your inspiring me to buy one anyway!

I'm kicking myself for not buying the other one the guy had just like it...

It would have been great for parts and eventually pulling the body off and dropping a crew cab body on it...:D

I got the diamond plate in the window holes and most of the front bolted back together... Still have to paint the grill and the pieces of diamond plate that will cover the holes up top front and back...

Hopefully I'll be able to get down to do emissions and get the plates for it really soon...

Here's the WOW Trail Fund sticker that will be going up for sale next week... They will be $5, with $4 going to the fund... This fund will be used for trail building projects... I'll post the info when we get the stickers back...

sweet bus!

i think you actually have the dt360 due to the raised fins on the valve covers. from what i read 93 had an inline pump that was easy to turn up. i have a thread with some info going in the garage about it.

A guy on another forum noticed the valve cover as well... I did some research and it is in fact a DTA360 with 190hp... It's got the Alison 545 behind it... I'm gonna look around and see if I can do a converter lock up on it...

The DTA360 Is considerably smaller than the DT466... The 466 came stock with 210hp... As far as the guys I've talked to that deal with these engines on a daily basis, the DTA360 should be a great engine for my application...

I was originally told it was a DT466, but I am totally clueless when it comes to diesel engines... I can't really complain for $1000...

Right now I'm dealing with a little bit of information overload... As I get further along, things will sink in and I'll get more and more familiar with everything...

OK, I've been bouncing around ideas for the bunks...

I've looked at a ton of other builds and then something clicked...

I'm gonna use black pipe and build a frame, basically posts on all four corners and sockets that the bed rails will drop into... I plan on using Army cots in between the bed rails... This should be easy to set up and take down as needed for hauling equipment...

Here's the cot material that I'm looking at...

are they already sewn up as cots or just the fabric to make them? i've been wanting to do something like that in the burb.

glad you updated i was wondering what you had been up to. have fun with the 360!

Finally got off my a$$ to start on the lights... Been slacking for a bit with the weather and Thanksgiving...

Picked up some 24 bulb 4" round leds for the brake and turn signals in the rear...

Have to open the existing holes a 1/2" to make them fit...

These should look pretty sweet on the bus...
