Muddysub's Toyota crawler.

I'm sure you could find something heavy enough at work...

I was thinking a 58 meter, with the brakes released... I bet that toy would pull it..

No idea about game of thrones but you'll be fine using normal solder on that radiator. I've soldered many filler necks back on Copper radiators without issue.

I tried soldering it today I don't think I got it hot enough. I'll mess with it some more tomorrow. I also replaced the rear spring bushings, the uniball hangers flex nice but they wear out bushings. (I didn't get after photos.)

Well I got the radiator repaired. I tried three different types of solder there at my house and none of them worked so I drove the yota over to Lowe's and picked up some plumbing solder and flux. That took care of it first try. I also checked the fluid in the transmission, both transfer cases and rear axle. I've been reluctant to check the fluid in any of them because of what I found in my front axle but they were all clean, just a little low. I topped them all off with fresh gear oil.

I guess it's time for a post blazer bash update.

Toyota is broken.

Ok, let me expand on that a little.
We pulled the little yoter up to Moab for BB17 and wheeled it around for three days. It did really well overall, the truck feels really stable, I teeter tottered a bunch and never felt like I was in any danger. Every time I drive this truck I learn something and I get more comfortable in it. The engine/propane system performed flawlessly, we even managed to run it out of fuel twice. It looks like I'm getting 12-15hrs of mixed trail & road driving out of a 10gal tank. The speedometer doesn't work so I couldn't tell you anything about mileage. It climbs well and the wheelbase worked well on the trails I ran. Hells Revenge was a ton of fun, that was actually my first time running that trail. Hells gate was super fun, I didn't drive escalator though. @blazinzuk did though, the little tractor truck had to be winched up the second half, steering is a bitch with red labels and no hydro-assist. He wasn't able to turn and it got him crossed up, bent a rear spring in the process and thumped the cab into the rock but made it out ok on the end of a rope. The steering will have to be taken care of one day, we've got more pressing issues at the moment. We ran crack n back on Sunday, the truck was doing really well til we hit double whammy on the way back when I grenaded the rear ring & pinion. I pulled the rear driveline and turned to head out with @ChrisPerry giving me a tug up the obstacles on his bubba rope. I made it back to the Gemini bridges parking lot in FWD where @kgblazerfive and @blazinzuk picked me up with a trailer. We came home from Moab the next day, after having a new 4L80E installed in the Suburban and now the Toyota is sitting in the driveway. Looking super badass with a coat of red dust on it. New rear axle parts will be ordered next week. I'm gonna throw that thing up on the table and go through it like I did the front. I'm bummed about it being broke but still feeling pretty good about how well it drives.

Dang man sorry about the spring!

It's a great little truck. Was a blast to drive.

This thing was a lot of fun to ride in. It makes me want a smaller truck for the trail.
