My 6.2 build!

I for one can do without the anti-semitic remarks.
 Lighten up.

I have no idea on the history of the motor or what caused the pistons to crack, but being that its from south Texas I would assume it was overheated a few times. The heads dont appear to have any cracks but I'll take a better look at them at some point and if I decided to use them to rebuild I'll deffinately have them magnafluxed.

Grow up:rolleyes:

You are in mixed company here. That comment is used to infer Jews are cheap. This board has restrictions on use of language. Should you want another opinion check with a Mod.

You said something offensive, I called you on it. Take the hit.

Moving on...

Anyone know where I can get the Fel-Pro head bolt kit and if the bolts are reusable? How about the ARP stud kit?

Also, does anyone have a part # for the '99 6.5 TD oil pump? I hear its mo' betta than the earlier ones.

damn man! i didnt know you killed your engine...im expecting the same from my 6.2 any time...trying to find a 350 or 383 or or even a 6.5. Whats the staus of your new engine? if yall need another hand or anything, im only like 2 minutes from you. ive seen ur truck around. down dexter or something...

Don't know about different years but I found these Melling numbers:
Stock pump: Melling M-55
HV Pump: Melling M-55HV

Of course a PartsAmerica search showed:
Melling Engine Parts Oil Pumps
Part Number: M255294S

So is that a HV pump or not? Maybe the "s" is for standard?

Glad to add to the confusion:rolleyes::rolleyes:
