My '70 C/10 - The Rat Bastard... [Won't Idle.]

Well....I got as far as:

- Neither A/C bracket setup will work.... Gonna make new ones.
- On the plus side, the AC compressor I'm gonna use, is 134 compatible. Sweet. :D
- Then, I found out I'm missing my 9mm Allen wrench... The one for the PS Pump Pulley. :doah:

Not my day, today.... Maybe tomoro....
All I know, is that the torch is comin out, and some 5/16" plate is gettin burnt up.

I have the AC and power steering off my 71 if you want it just come pick it up. It's off a sbc but I can take some pictures for you when I get home to see if it'll work

I may want them... If you could take some pics, that'd be sweet.
I have no problem driving to Davis.
We drive to Reno for fun... :haha:

I am not positive but I think the ones on the right are power steering and the left AC? Bottom two are alternator. Your welcome to them if you think they'll work

:confused::confused: Momma said there would be days like this. :doah::doah:

You need a powerbuilt model #648605 from the local parts store. You can return it when your done. I kept mine.

They are... I have to either, make my own, or buy factory brackets.
But, I'm not sure that factory brackets would even work...
Te reason I say that, is that right-side A/C on a 67-72 BBC Pickup,
Is a bi-product of a smog pump...

Which means the brackets are designed to hold the air pump.
Which I'll never use.

So.... Custom brackets.
Might just bypass the ac, for now, as it is September.
I'll figure it out later.

Time to get some sh*t in the truck, now...

After... *Ahem*, "clearancing" the inner fender.... The power steering pump fits. :D

I just need to order the small, rear adjustment bracket, to clear my headers.
I have the larger one... Es no bueno.

Off to get power steering lines, Fuel line, vacuum hose, coolant hoses, and an oil filter.
After the miscellaneous hoses, it's just the bracket, and tranny cooler that need to get here.

So, close to vroom-vroom... :D

If you need some ideas for simple design. Check out Alan Grove he makes up all kinds of brackets, old school new school and whatnot. Good photos to look at for ideas. Iv'e used him before and his chit works.
