At 1.5 you start to risk running out of bolt for alignment shims.

I have the same shifter and I love it. Be careful with the cable routing, they are spensive and I tore my first one up in about 5 shifts.

So, screw 6AN hose....
Yes, i know the heater return fitting isnt tight enough.
But i dont have the correct size wrench, yet.
Choke is done.... And PERFECT.
