I called the guy, and talked to him for over 30 minutes. He is very cool.
I mentioned i hate chrom/polished, and he said he could send me a bare set!
Also, im sure that would accept a clutch fan. The pulley dosnt need to be threaded, its the water pump shaft piece that needs to be threaded. The pulley just needs the holes it has for the bolts to pass through.

There it is...I couldn't remember the details on installing a mech. fan.
I hear ya on the chrome don't get you home deal. I didn't buy it for looks I got it for function only.
