My budget K5 Build, wheeled it dented it,pics inside

Had a good weekend, Tons of stuff marked off the list.
Installed all my new SS Brake Lines new proportioning valve and a brake ball valve in the cab. Did center drop Braded Lines Front and rear,
Got the ORD Frame brace on hydro assist, everything but the new pump,
Got the Front shocks mounted with ford shock towers,
Got the 42s on n i have quite a bit of trimming to do,

Next weekend ill blead the rear brakes mount the reat shocks put the power stearing pump on n trim the fenders, then i can take it for a test drive.... CANT WAIT

Here is a pic of it after the weekend, it looks pretty low in the front but the front tires have a lot less pressure in em.

Front might need a little more lift though, looking at the body line in relation to wheel height but get tires aired up properly and then decide. Zero rate/shim in front and I bet your pretty good.

Yeah I think the front fender is 1.5-2" taller than the rear

Looks good though

Pros and Cons of moving the rear axle back? I have 56s that will go in the blazer, but am considering running them backwards like you did. Is the spread worth the trouble? lol I guess it is if you did it :)

I really wanted more wheelbase When its all done it will be 114 from 106.
It will be a lot better departure angle and wont have to trim the front quite so much.

The cons are that in order to fully flex the 42s i win have to tub the inner fenders to make em longer to the rear, witch will also require me to move the fuel door back. si i guess im going to be doing some body work. If i were running a smaller tire i wouldnt have any trouble but it would look funny with the tire in the rear half of the fender. so lots of pros but lots more cons so you can decide from there.

Going to start on a Front Spring hanger mount/ winch mount, front bumper this weekend so it should be interesting. going to move the front hanger down about 2 to 2.5 inches, it will give me a better pinnion angle a little more lift and move the spring another inch forward.

Drove it today, seems to work just fine. need to clean up the fenders with the grinder a bit tho. still got lots to do but its getting there.

cut off wheel works wonders on fenders. you can controll the cuts a lot easier. I would cut right above the flare on the fenders. I just did mine this way and think it looks pretty good instead of half flare, half cut.

Got to drive it a bit today, had to stop n bleed the rear brakes but that was about it. drove good, i need to figure out my tbi problem so it will idle with lout trying to die, and the th400 is definatly on the priority list. i HATE the stupid 4 speed. it is going away ASAP.

Here is a few pozer shots nothin fancy but its the only hill i have to work with

A ton better than 410s and 44s did, was able to drive around like normal in high range. Didn't really get past 2nd, n that's counting em as low 1st 2nd. I think I will enjoy the.5.38s for sure.
