My craigslist 88 v30 Crew dually find.....thoughts? Ideas?

All 1 tons (DRW or SRW) I have seen around here had the Brake load thingy. All most all of them where bypassed as Sweetk30 said.

yeah, i kind of feel like if the guy who sold it to me knew that the "problems" were simple afternoon fixes he may ot have pushed it off so quickly.

Well, did a little wrenching this weekend.
Here's what I started wit

Took these

And the front Detroit locked 4.56 axle from "possum"
And some 3" blocks and did this

Not a HUGE noticeable difference in the pics but 3-4" all the way around is noticeable in person. Now I just need to hunt down some bigger rubber and some spacers.
-also need to make a draglink for the crossover steering I installed along with a new(ish) xj shaft to replace the old rag joint steering.
Oh yeah...here we're the rear overloads. I kind of had no choice but remove them.

Both sides were like that. Someone must have tried to pull a house.
I also did some playing and stuck the 38 ground hawgs and h1's on to get a feel for a "what if" if I went SRW
