My emergency rescue on Fordyce Creek trail

Negative. It's a 1979 850cfm

Ah yes. much easier to take apart. Me thinks i need a regular carb and use electronic as back up until i go tbi. Taking the electronic one apart is no joke.

I would be looking at a Viar pump if you're gonna spend some money on one.

Hmm yeah ill look into that. if i can run some air tools and pump the 40s up im happy. Dont know if i need or want a tank.

Hey that is the compressor I'm using. I do have a 11gal air tank that I'm going to be hooking the compressor to. I usually just fill my air tank up to about 130 and that will fill my tires up to street enough pressure to get to a station. I have been wheeling and I got invited to go on this fordyce trip, But I know the limitations of my rig and I know when to say I can't make it on a trip.

Sounds like you had quite a trip! Thanks for posting up, it made for good reading and has encouraged me to continue keeping tools in my truck. And i will also be rethinking which ones I choose to keep handy.

Yeah man! Although my pants were around my ankles I felt like it would be a good learning opportunity for me and others. Most people aren't prepared for such events. Hell even when you think you're prepared you may not be. It was one heck of a trip but I'll be back to kick that trails ass!
