Well I've been all over the place on what to do next. And honestly I just gotta start saving and get the whole axle issue over with. Once I get the parts to make my 44 8 lug and find a decent 14 bolt, ill start really goin in deep. And I don't want to up my drive lines until then because of the yoke on the axle. So I'll just keep limping around town and not give it too much pedal and I'll be fine. But in the mean time, I've been looking at minor things and trying to fix and clean up some parts. I bought new rubber pedal covers, and a new gas pedal and pin. Cause my gas pedal broke off a few weeks ago so I've just had a rod to put my foot on. And within the next few days I'll have my dash apart again to put in my new temp gauge and new speedo... But here's what my fancy pedals look like now...
Its very convenient to live just a few miles from Early classics and the guys there know me
But in the mean time, I was hoping I could get some help with my lights and mounting. I have KC's bolted to my bumper. And they don't aim high enough so I bent my bumper so they would point straight rather than at the ground. (I don't really care about my bumper and the bumper already had the bend in it and that's where the idea came from) but here's what it looks like:
Any ideas how to make this better? Because I might be getting two more and moving them around and I'd rather not bend the crap out of that top lip and Im not sure how I would make a bracket for that without it lookin goofy. And I don't really want a push bar anymore or any kinda add on or other bumper. I want to keep the stock one
Also on a side note, I did not get the dodge
my grandpa doesnt want to let it go even though it is non opped and is falling apart due to my step cousin. Gonna be sad cause word is he is going to be registering the truck and drive it to work. I know it's a cummins. With a 5 speed. And 1 ton running gear. But honestly with his record and his ability to keep things running, I give it a year before its blown to hell.
