Did you add any king of gasket to your fuel door?
Not really. I painted everything with a bedliner type paint. But that's it. I probably should do some sort of gasket or might run some sort of sealant to the outer edges from underneathDid you add any king of gasket to your fuel door?
With the amount of overlap you have I doubt you will have any problems with water unless you dive in a lakeNot really. I painted everything with a bedliner type paint. But that's it. I probably should do some sort of gasket or might run some sort of sealant to the outer edges from underneath
I'm thinking more along the lines of exhaust fumes. With the amount of overlap you have I doubt you will have any problems with water unless you dive in a lake
That would only be a problem if the exhaust doesn't exit from under the truck, yesI'm thinking more along the lines of exhaust fumes.
I grew up in an area where exhaust will leak from rust within 2 years. Any holes in the floor are the first place it leaks into the cab. With a good exhaust in California it wouldn't be an issue though. That would only be a problem if the exhaust doesn't exit from under the truck, yes
Forgot to add a picturePut a little time tinkering with my beast today. My wife got me some parking brake cables for Father's Day so I figured I better install them. We got them from lugnut 4x4 on Facebook. Had to make a bracket for it but at least now I have a working parking brake. I'll post the pictures tomorrow
