I made one in shop class out of some aluminum hex stock, stamped GMC on it but then my dad sold his suburban. Looks cool, i think ill sand it down and put a chevy symbol on it and put it on my t case shifter. Its got a cheezy skull on it now that the eyes light up in, but batteries dead lol.

Yes they do, I built one out of aluminum many years ago and it was to cold or hot to touch at times
I got one with the "L" on it.
The macro mode on the camera makes it look like it's beat up, but it's actually in good shape.

Reminds me of all the squable a while back as to weather the SM465 was a 3 speed or a 4 speed transmission...kinda funny...sorta

Well, regardless of how useful or often it gets used "L" is still a separate forward gear all it's own. By my count that makes 4 individual forward gears and one reverse. I call it a four speed...

i call it a 4 speed plan and simple. if your not goin to count the first gear as 1st then you can go ahead and call a nv4500 a 3 speed with over drive since the nv4500 has a really low first also. just sayin
I call an NV4500 a 5 speed transmission, just like I call an SM465 a 4 speed.
