Surprisingly it doesn't affect it that much. They are brighter than my headlights. They also draw a good amount of power.

I recognize your truck. I've seen it around town. Defineately we'll go wheeling sometime. Look me up over at NEK5.com if you aren't already over there, its all local guys and I'm sure we'll be planning some wheelin event soon. :D

I've been busy tonight...

I've been busy tonight dissasmebling the exhaust. Every exhaust clamp broke when I applied any torque to the bolts. WhichI ended up bashing my nuckles every time it happens... :mad:

I have the passenger side out, however, the driverside will have to get the :hack: treatment. Hopefully I can finish it by tomorrow night, because the drive back to school will be interesting with open pipes on the highway with no OD... :crazy: :p:

This is the trouble side of the muffler, I might have poked at it with a screw driver a few times too...

As you can see exhaust work is fustrating...

ok your off the hook:wink1:

Thanks :waytogo::whistle:

Ok so I've got the exhaust buttoned up. Unfortunately the tailpipes aren't fitting on, so I am just terminiating the exhaust right out the muffler and doing turndowns. Although the sound from the new mufflers is a nice crisp slightly more throaty sound, its quieter and if anything I wanted to go louder... :rolleyes:

Pictures and a vid of the new exhaust to be up soon...

Pictures!

Here is all the old rusted crap I took out:

so who you goin to have weld on your brace?

Tom

I'm going to have my neighbor weld it on. The same guy who helped me out with my body work and a few other welding jobs.

BTW, anyone catch how the camera was knocked over by the exhaust and smashed on the ground?

it would be nice to see how the brace turns out, I'm thinking about putting one in mine as a preventative measure. Nice truck, and I'm very envious of your SM465.
