This post was in relation to wheeling on your own land and making a trail for yourself and knocking down only dead trees while watching out for small animals with a rig that has been washed off so not to spread milfoil. I sincerly apoligize to all partys offended.

Well, I want to keep the truck as clean as possible... but its tough when I go wheelin with the offroad club at my school. They like to bomb down the trails and beat the crap out of their vehicles. Not me, I like to go slower and take it easier. Oh well, what can you do...

I would love to get a beater, but to me its just not financially sound because i am paying for college right now and I don't have time to work given my school. Plus there are registration fees, and INSURANCE

I hear ya brother, and there your cards not mine. Its not that I dont like taking it easy on the trails I think its that I am incapable I lack the self control = dents/broken parts/more dents. There are leaders of the pack and then there are those who pull up the rear and like pulling everyone else out, both are fun. We should all just be glad we can get out there and take it to the dirt every now an then. Your truck is mint by the way and I would be proud to have it in my garage.

I use to take my 85 k10 (my dd) to the trails with friends just cause I wanted to go. but i would always take it easy and stay on the good trails and in the back. I never did any damage to my truck on the trails and then I got a beater to take out. Sold the beater and now have nothing to take to the trails 
Parts are ready and collected!
I've been collecting some sweet parts to fix the damage on my truck. I plan on installing them over my Thanksgiving break.

here is a serious piece of advice..
upgrade your tranny mout to a poly piece from autozone/checker summit when you change out your motor mount set up.
having a loose tranny mount and a stiff motor mount or ise versa is asking for a bellhousing failure/crack or a toasted t-case adapter.
the poly tranny mount is 24.00 if I remember, trust me on this one
ive had one fail/break as well as other members on here.

Now after you get all that in you should get the body of the truck protected, rock sliders, grill guards, off road bumpers, and trim those fenders so they dont get eaten up buy your tires. Or just end up like me and after my passenger door (last strait panel) got a big ass dent I just stop caring about cosmetic appreance. And that would be a waste of good truck.

I just got a package from Summit containing my poly tranny mounts.
Where did you get them for $24? I just paid $54
