Well now that i finally got rid of the Death Wobble, i have a completely new steering setup from the pitman arm to the tierod (i replaced everything that could wear including balljoints).

i think i did an ok job of aligning it but i need to know if that is my probelm....

when im driving i have to cock the steering wheel to the side about 1/8 of a rotatoin, if i let go it jerks to the right and the steeringwheel centers.

what could this be?

im not sure if its toe or not but what else could it be???

oh and also, i noticed my turning radius to the left sucks now, i think that might have something to do with it

Sounds to me like your draglink needs adjusting in length, i.e. alignment.

Um, steering box could be cocked on the frame or the frame could be cracked... rag joint could be whacked ... or you could have miscounted turns on the draglink and/or not tightened it enough.

re-adjust ur draglink, thats why ur left turning radius sucks. get ur x-over already :wink1:

The pulling to the right could be a tire pull, caster or camber pull-camber pulls to the more postive side.there is a a shim on the upper ball joint that unscrews from the knuckle, you could have out of adjustment-need to have the alignment checked-they have aftermarket shims.or the gearbox could cause a pull.I have been a front end tech for 15 years-most pulls are tire related-try switching the tires around and see what happens.

alright. my tires are NOT balaced by any means so ill see if moving them around makes a diffrecne
