Well its not to say they are wrong, its just that our map sensors are backwards-ish. The way i keep thinking about it in my head is, the further from 100kpa the map reading is, the more vacuum the engine is producing. 100kpa=WOT, 0kpa=maximum vacuum.
Now about the ve tables... Call me crazy, i dont know how i did it it but somehow, in all my research, reading, dave posting tables, etc, etc, i had somehow convinced myself that the second ve table only kicked in above 3200rpm... Yep. So i pretty much have been ignoring it! Infact, come to think of it, i think now that every time i have removed say, 20% from ve1, thats really only 10% off the combined table! Farty fart! I gotta say thats quite the impressive brain fart on my behalf. So, now im off to go back and look for daves post that had combined ve tables and zeroed out ve2.
