I have thought about it, have heard steering can be a bitch with bigger tires even with crossover and I am not sure I want to go hydro assist quite yet

Except for the u-joint carnage.

I had all this Layin around or got it by horsetrade. I just gave away a 69 cab and front clip. Just cause it was in the way and my buddy is gonna put it to use. I woulda rather gave it to u. Just cause I don't want him building what he is. And it's always good to find another young guy like myself into doing all the work themselves. I like the way ur rig is coming. Stick to it man. Good work

thanks! yea i dont really like the new brand of wheelers these days that just buy all the stuff for their trucks. making it all yourself is first off wayyyyy cheaper and it really pays off in the end when you can truly say i built that.

work on the tool box today for four hours strait! had to fill in a bunch of holes and stuff that were in it. then painted the inside with spray on undercoating. also made a mount for my battery in off switch. will get pics of it all done soon

Yeah definitely, that damn tree isn't going to beat me this time, it already took out the mirror and door so I have nothing left to loose

Chainsaw.....

I'm all for challenging trails but I HATE body damage. Got wedged between 2 trees with my cherry jeep and ended up focking up the fender. yeah body damage is a part of wheeling but I just don't like doing body damage when you could have chopped it down and not have paid another couple hundred to have a clean body.

Call me a puss, but I like a clean body.

yea i know what your saying but unless its your property cutting down a tree on a trail is big no no i usually just wont try stuff when its too tight

wasnt it your rear being welded that wouldnt let you turn?
Yeah it definitely had something to do with it. I was on a ****ty line as well so that didnt help

Without the tree it wouldnt be all that challenging, yeah it rearranged some sheet metal but I gave up on a clean rig a long time ago, right around the day I bought it :D. Rather have fun in a beat rig then baby a clean one. Even if I did care what the truck looked like I would rather fix some ody damage then cut down the tree, no point to giving the anti-wheeling crowd any more ammo for shutting down trails

Ok,your a puss.

If you dont like body damage, maybe use a little common sence on the trail. If your too dumb to know well enough where you will and will not fit without the aid of a chainsaw maybe you should stick to mall wheelin or better yet, just stay home.

body damage happens... It's part of wheelin. But between a clean body and a focked up one. I'll take a clean body anyday.
