Need a complete how to for High sterr

heres my reverse hi-steer setup (draglink not hooked up to pitman arm)

Let's see if I have any pics of mine. 3/4 ton 10 bolt with crossover, high steer and hydro assist. I bought the axle with a hacked up crossover set up. (welded steering arm to the flat top knuckle) Yes I broke it. Made for a long day.

then went to doing it proper, drilled and tapped with good arms, then went with NWF raised arms. I used a two wheel drive box and had it tapped for the hydro. Ram came with the axles and is some type of tractor ram. I used heim joints for the tie rod and steering rod.

NICE PICS 70JIMMY do you find your steering is nice and tight now or do you still have play. I can turn my wheel 90 degrees before it even starts to think of moving and it gets scary on the road. and im not getting full lock to lock on the axel either. what pitman arm did you use too?? like youre rig man.

Zero play, very responsive. virtually no turning the wheel without the tires beginning to turn. I also put on a 14 inch diameter grant steering wheel.

Pitman arm is stock for 2 wheel drive box. But that has been a while ago.

I have raised arms from Northwest Fab. Very nice. I had some others but they weren't as high or as well constructed.

It's too bad I can't fit all three trucks in the garage we could all afford to do some fixin and it would be a blast to be there to help each other out when needed. Call me and we can get at least one done at a time. It's 5* out right now but 55-60* inside even FROSTBITE can appreciate that(I think)

I think you could have got out of that stuck if you had a hi steer set upI will call you soon
