2 ton. If you don't need it right a way watch for sales. It seems like Northeren & HF are always having some kind of sale at the stores here.

I looked at the ones at northern and harbor freight today. The ones at northern look exactly like mine from Advance Auto and the ones at Harbor freight has some differences between them. I got mine from Advance but for the harbour freight price by asking them to price match. You may even get it for the sale price if you have a flyer.

I agree on the two ton version too. Fully extended the two tons are only rated for 500lbs.

Just used mine to load up my nv4500/203/205 and X-member into Russel's truck... Fully extended lol. Mine is the 2 ton model too.

Just used mine last night to straighten a stretched-and-welded aluminum torque arm that connects the trans to the diff for my SAAB. I had to lengthen it to accommodate the longer wheelbase. It's too big to fit in the press so I slid it under the legs, put a chain through the center and "lifted" it straight.
