Need driveline opinions...

You have to jump the truck. A few feet of air a few dozen times ought to do it. :D

I did fronts only and everything was settled before I even used 4WD much, so I had no driveline issues. I can tell you that what happens at any corner affects all 3. For example, a weak rear spring can make the front one look taller. When you ordered springs, how did you weigh the truck? Any chance your numbers were too high?

I didn't weight it, I told ORD the info about the truck and they went from there. In hindsight I would have been much more specific about expectations for height and stuff like that. I naively thought 4" was 4", and it kind of is, but with the softer springs there's also probably the factor of whether you want it to be 4" light or 4" loaded up with people, gear and your entire future wish list of bumpers and winches, etc. Also, what does 4" mean on 1/2 ton vs. 1-ton axles? Stuff like that.
 
Weight of the axle doesn't affect how the springs sag, but the size of 1-tons makes you sit about an inch higher than 1/2-tons. ORD can account for a lot of these things, but they probably assume you are comparing to catalog springs, not comparing to stock ride height (meaning their 4" spring should put you at the same height as brand x 4" spring). See that's the problem with off-the-shelf springs. You want 4" for any truck - you get stiff springs. An ORD spring will be like 3-4x as sensitive to weight as the catalog kidney bleeder springs.
 
I asked for about 4", axle forward about an inch and a good shackle angle with the stock mounts. I drove on the scale at the local gravel yard to get the front axle weight and told ORD my axle/wheel/tire info so they could subtract the unsprung weight.
