Jon I wish you lived closer to me. I just did my front 10 bolt and have extra shims and other assorted parts. I'd even let you learn how to do it your self
I'm pulling the thing, hopefully today. I'll get it on some jackstands and inspect it better, then decide to rebuild or replace.

I'll be regearing the front at some point. I need to replace some bearings or ball joints in the front end (can't remember which, it was a LONG time ago when it was looked at). So yeah, I'll get a pretty good opportunity to learn any and every thing about the front 10-bolt.
