if your on a phone you should see "upload file or photo" down on the bottom of the page. Then it will insert in the reply and you select "post reply".

Very cool, some specs on it? I count 8 lugs. And no locking hub. :D

Its a cucv. Im still kind of learning about them. So i read that it is an 8 lug 10 bolt axel. 6.2l desiel th400 auto. Currently missing seats. And needs heat!

I think CUCV Blazers still had 6 lug axles. Maybe someone swapped 3/4 ton running gear. Is the rear axle a 14 bolt?

Actually, yeah, it looks like you have a 14 bolt FF. Very cool.

If thats the case then awsome. Ill have to look at it some more. This is going to be my first 4x4 build! Im kind of excited.

My phone would take a minute to actually load that part so I didn't ever see the "upload file" until I got drunk one night and was moving extra slow. Then I figured it out.:D

I'm just spitballing here, 'cause there are folks here that know a LOT more than me.

But it appears someone possibly swapped 3/4 ton axles in your truck from a truck that had full time 4 wheel drive. Thus no front locking hubs. Which is still great, I'd kill for an 8 lug front axle right now. If I'm right, you might want to install locking hubs in the front (after buying seats of course) because that axle will spin the front driveshaft all the time, even in 2 wheel drive, which would hurt gas mileage.

I'd love for smarter guys to chime in. Either way, that is a really great start for a rig, congratulations.

Thanks buddy. Is there any trick to switch to locking hubs or is it pretty easy?

I think it's just a matter of buying locking hubs for a Dana 44 and installing them. I don't think there is anything special that needs to be done. Lots of people did it back in the day. But they had to do a modification to the transfer case too. You probably still have the 208 transfer case, so wont affect you.

Does your transfer case shifter say 2 HI/4 HI/4 LO, or L loc, L, N, H, H loc?
