new daily driver

That looks pretty good for being in the Midwest, I'm just a couple hours east in Iowa

I woild do the starter relay mod so you dont kill your starter and fly wheel. People call it the dog head relay mod.

There are quite a few guys in Neb. They make a few trips to Tuttle Creek ORV down by Manhattan, Ks a couple times a year. You should tag along some time.

Sounds like fun!

Im kind of thinking about swapping in a 350! Any suggestions on how to do it cheap and reliable.

Yeah, probably. I think 33's are about as big as you can go without a lift.

You might be able to pull it off driving carefully on the street, but turn the right amount and hit a bump, you'll probably rub. But who knows, there are lots of variables, wheel offset, etc.

Well, I went cheap with a Zone 4" lift, and put it on myself. It works fine for me, down the road I'll get rid of the rear block and do a shackle flip, but for now this is fine. I have half ton axles though, I don't know if that makes a difference. Someone else here would know though.

Here is the thread on my truck so far, if you want to browse through. You can see what the tire/lift combo will look like.

Yeah thanks! Ive been reading through a few threads to help so one with roughly the same set up would be nice to look through.

So a new problem came up today! The ignition switch got stuck in the on position.
