I tried the Flowmaster in the dynomax system and it has exactly the same drone. Loud and irritating! I'm going back to stock so the truck is drivable again...

Rogered that and you know better what fits your purpose; along which direction I may also follow; in case I don't succeed in resolving the same issue (am waiting only to re-test the sound after I re-install the OEM Cat. Convertors that I removed (i.e. to re-fit them right where they belong to; after the exhaust-header & before the current Big Block Flowmasters (one per each of the dual pipes), I think 70 series).
