Hey everyone, I’m Justin from Chico, California.
My family and I spend a lot of our free time in our ’83 K5 Blazer, getting out on Northern California trails whenever we can. We’ve run the Rubicon, Paradise High Lakes, and a lot of the other trails up this way. We’re big on actually using these trucks—getting them dirty, fixing what breaks, and keeping them on the trail.
Over the years, we’ve built around 10 Squarebodies of our own. That includes everything from 2WD step-side trucks to 4WD Blazers, Suburbans, and plenty in between. We like the full range of these rigs: clean drivers, trail trucks, work trucks, and projects that need to be brought back from the dead.
I joined CK5 because I want to be part of the community, learn from the people who have been keeping these trucks alive for years, share some of our builds and trail trips, and help when I can. If somebody is working through a Squarebody problem and I have experience with it, I’m always happy to chime in.
I’ll get some pictures of the ’83 and a few of our past builds posted up soon. Glad to be here.

Cool another guy close by.
I am in Lincoln.
I have built a few squares before.
Now I am building a suburban and then a crew cab.
It's a long term project as I get time
