Thanks guys I will call them tomorrow and see if they will sell it without the title. they are a towing company, so not sure they will sell without a title. doesnt hurt to ask.

True, but if they do it might be even cheaper:pimp:

sweet they told me over the phone $250 for the tub when I first called them about it. so maybe I can get it even cheaper without the title. :woot:

Does anyone know how much a blazer body weighs with the doors on. Just wondering so I can get some help if needed

Thanks

Can you tell how good the torsion boxes are on that tub? If you're gonna just pick it up, you'll want to make sure it doesn't fold up like a taco.

That's a heckuva pile of parts that came with the Blazer.

Im not sure, Thats as close as I got to the tub. The guy said it was in excellent shape he thinks someone just lost interest in it and then they ended up with it. I will look it over really good on saturday but still end up buying it cuase from what I could see from the road its in way better shape then mine.

seriously though, if you need an extra set of hands give me a holler. I'll help out if I can.

Hey Ashman & Randal,
Fellow first gener here. Not far up the road from you here in Poky, ID. We should somehow get together on a trail run in northern UT somewhere. BTW Ashman you are a copycat, lol. Your chop job on your hard top is nearly identical to mine. I'll have to figure out how to post pics for ya. :woot:
Also Ashman, where did you get that windshield header for the soft top snaps? I need something like that cause the top of my windshield frame is so rusted out that I have no metal to drill into for the snaps. I plan on replacing the w/s frame but a header like that would allow me to use my soft top until I find a suitable donor frame.
