New shoes on my 1 ton...

I love that truck. Get a big ass bull bar on there and you'd have the perfect urban zombie hunting vehicle :D

(Avery, I'll apologize now for hijacking the thread =))

It's got this big honking Warn bumper on it now, with a grille guard thing that somebody previously welded on there. I actually welded diamond plate over the center section where the winch should go, and just use it as a step bumper when I'm working under the hood. It's 2WD, you see, so it never ventures off-road.

And for the guy who asked for more pix, any of my posts that say 'sixpack' should have pix ... likely that one, as it's most current, but there are lots =))

Nice truck man. Looks good with the tires and wheels on there too. :waytogo:

My brother has a 3" BL and 33's but the guy before him had to cut the bumper to keep the tires from rubbing. It may be due to them sticking out so far..:dunno:

I like the look but they stick out WAY too far

I've heard that from a few people... to be honest I'm not sure why it's so tight. I know it's a 3" BL but I'm maxxed out with these 33's... the back could fit 35's but the front would hit all over the place...
Did he crank the torsion bars?
yeah he cranked em a little bit and he took a sawzall to the front fenders:D

id keep it the color it is, looks real good. why paint it black?
Yeah it's starting to grow on me... it's not a bad combo and it's easy to keep clean...
Our C2500 CCSB is black and looks pretty sick so that's where the original idea to paint it black came from... that'll be well down the road though since the bumper and stuff will come first...

No problem :D I'm sure I've hijacked a few of yours over the years...

Yeah I'm pretty sure a lot of it has to do with the width of the tire and offset of the rims...

Figured... looks good though.

I've been thinking of looking into different keys but I think I'd be better off not messing with something that works... it sits low but still has the size tire I want to run so I think I'm good to go...

From the picture in your sig it looked like it had pretty nice wheels before. Why the change??

I forgot to post the measurements you guys asked for... it was parked on grass so I couldn't get the tape measure all the way flush with the ground but it's within' 1/2" or so...

I believe we set them @ 50psi... max on them was like 70...

Looks good Avery. Sounds like your not going to run a lift anymore? Let me know if you need some tubing bent, my bender is out wanting attention.

Seriously? I'll definately take you up on your offer... I'll buy the tube you supply the bender and know-how :)
