New shop build.

Done!!!!!!
Well with the concrete.

Except for cutting in joints and putting something called cure and seal on. My buddy helping really likes it.

Keeping it wet to slow the cure down a little cause we can't cut joints until Sunday afternoon.

Only on the one side and will put water on the other tomorrow morning.

So cutting joints Sunday cleaning it then cure and seal on Monday

Anyway pics

Its a great floor. 1200 sq ft ( outside dimensions) 5.5" thick. 2" slope to the front. 21.5 yards of concrete

I'm so excited!

There IS something about watching your first garage's floor slab dry--it kind of gives you the same feeling you get when Kate UPTON (edit!) does jumping jacks..:D

So cool and at the same time so excited for ya. Can't wait to come up and see this shop in action. Although, it is your turn to visit mine next.. lol  :wink1:

Congrats, Brother.

Water on. :D

No matter how much you water it, it won't fill in the other side.

Well I was misinformed. They said plant concrete it will grow...........wait maybe........oh nope they said it would grow cracks!

The other side is done Wade. Both sides are done.

Did you finalize a plan on what you're doing for that open wall and doors?

Mostly. Not gonna be hard.

2 12' wide 12' tall doors. Each set off the side wall 5 ft. Man door in the middle.

My cousin who is a contractor is calling a couple places for prices for the header beam. So not 100% on method.

He knows my budget lol

Also since we didn't really grade down at all. Cause it was basically graded already I used a skid steer yesterday to move a bunch of dirt and gravel so I didn't have a 6" bump to get stuff in the garage
