I like the fact that my steering box can take a dump and I can swap into another one by just changing over the caps real quick vs. having to re-tap everything. This would be much easier on the trail, or even at home in the driveway. Not to mention, I can still use my old one as a core since it's not tapped into the body.

I look forward to getting it.

Here's mine. The hole looks egg shaped in the pics because I still have not filed off the burr around the top edge, from the tap. But it's straight.

Just a quick question. You say this is for hydro assist, will this set-up flow enough for full hydro? I havent messed with hydro steering at all yet, but i plan on going full hydro as it is a trail only rig, and was trying to figure out if this was going to be my best route.

Either you're confused or I'm confused on what you're asking.

For full hydro you don't used the steering box at all, unless there is something I've never seen. The steering box is what moves the pitman arm, which is connected to the draglink. Maybe someone has figure out how to use the steering box as an orbital?

From the full hydro steering I know and have seen you don't have a draglink. So nothing needs to be connected to the pitman arm. There are 3 main compents: a pump, an orbital, and a ram.

Hope this clears things up.

Just got my cap in. "it shore is purdy". Might want to update the picture in the first post, the cap I received is different in appearance (The one I got is better looking). It looks the same as the cap on the website.
