And replace that Fram oil filter with a quality one like Wix.
THIS X 1000!!! Might be the reason for the crate engine. Installed one on my '71 Z/28 back in the day and drove about a hundred feet when the side split wide open with a high volume (not high pressure) oil pump! Buddy built a high dollar engine, didn't realize the seal was undersized (correct filter for engine) and during break-in run it ruined his engine. Multiple videos online showing Fram as worst filter made. Wix or Purolator (made by WIX.)
BTW, Nice looking Blazer! Great score! One of the nicest K5's I've seen in quite some time.Springs look stock to me. I'd be happy to have that in my driveway anytime!
