Nice American made shocks for cheap!

how long are the rear shocks on a 99 up truck with a 8" lift? most of the universl ones are out of stock but there are a lot of non universal ones still avalble.

Well worth the 6-bucks a piece I paid to use them temporarily till I save for a nice long travel set.

is there a difference between the front and rear shocks? I bought 4 front shocks and compairing them to the ones on the rear they look like they fit.

I would guess the valving would be different, but i do not know for sure.

the fronts that i got have an eye at each end for a bolt to go through and the rears have an eye on one end and two tabs on the other. tell you the truth I haven't even had time to look yet to see if that's what i need for the rear:doah::haha:

All my shocks are the eye through bolt attachment style.

the rears are different. you just need to bust those things out of it, and get some sleeves to fit

The style with the tabs is for the 90's style rear.

I got mine yesterday, seem pretty stiff. I'll see if it helps the ride in my dad's truck....Subruban, 502, tuff county 4" ezrides, and 35's

summit is having a blowout sale and they have edelbrock ias twintube shocks for 6in lift at 6 dollars a piece. I am prolly gonna get them just to replace my old busted ones while i'm saving for a nice set haha.
Got a link to these? I can't find them on the site.

I found them. Luckily for me, there were only 5 of the 6" shocks left and I bought 4 of them.

I see 4" shocks are on backorder, too.

Can't believe I missed this overlooked this post until now. I need a set of front shocks for the Blazer, and a full set for the 2500HD....but I don't see those applications listed anymore on Summit or Edelbrock site.

I know nothing about suspension. Would these work for an 87 blazer with a 4 inch lift?

If you order the pre-88 4" shocks, yes. Kinda answered your own question there.

They don't have pre-88 shocks thus the reason for the question.

What's the difference between the 88 gm version and 87 gm version?
