noJeeps 2001 duramax Frank - new headlights

I would like to get one of those new tri-fold covers, but don't feel like spending a grand on one. I'll use the tool box I got for $20 as the secure storage I need for whatever tools will go in it.

Think I spent 300 on my extang trifold. Super easy to take on and off.

Since I'm waiting for a new fuel filter head, I want to replace the fuel lines running to and from the filter head. Especially the shorter one going to the ficm, it's looking pretty compromised. Where would be a good place to get them?

If you want the preformed and insulated, it appears that the only place is the dealer. Otherwise, whatever you want to make up. I've read of folks just putting normal fuel line on without the insulation, no idea how that worked out for them. If you go that route, watch out for kinking as it has some good turns to make, and not a lot of room to route.

I used normal fuel line on Colby’s 01 the only line I had trouble with is one short on down at the cp3

Just got off the phone with the stealership, they want $146 for the two lines! Little wonder where they get that name...

I'll be stopping by Hose and Rubber Supply on my way home to get quality hose at $10 a foot vs. nearly $50 a foot.

Yay the box came with my new fuel filter head! But what's this?

:doah:

Why does everything have to be so damn difficult with this thing? It's a good thing I was planning on changing out these two factory hoses anyways...

But at least there's a light at the end of the tunnel, and hopefully it's not my train...

Really!? :doah:

My grandpa always used to say, "ain't nothing easy that's worth it, and nothing worth it that's easy."

I sure hope this thing will be worth it, because it's not been easy having a new daily driver sit in the garage for the first three weeks of ownership.
