So for those of you who have NOT tuned their trucks, how does the transmission act in normal mode? It seems odd to me that in normal mode the torque converter will not lock up at all until 50 mph. Personally I would rather it stay locked up as much as possible like it does in tow mode instead of needlessly heating up expensive transmission fluid. It's a diesel, it's got the ability to grunt back up to speed from 1,000 rpm in overdrive with moderate throttle.
