NON Chevy’s in the Wild

Did not have enough cam in it though
That’s just wrong - I think it’s in the Bible somewhere that thou shalt have an abundance of lift and everlasting duration accompanied by proper lobe separation.

That guy needs to be baptized in some 108 octane and see the way of righteous power!

I may have gotten carried away with that one…

After the Marines I worked in aviation for a few years at a little FBO in Grand Rapids, MI. We did a lot of general aviation so had 100LL (100 octane low lead).

We weren’t supposed to sell to non-aviation but on Saturdays a few locals might occasionally slip onto the field and get a tank or can full. There was one guy with a Deuce with a LUMPY cam who used our stuff as his base fuel that he added octane booster to.

Never seen a green Golden Eagle before - pretty cool.

Ole JR. took several pics earlier today at the show and sent some to me but most did not have all of the car in the pic frame - photography just ain’t his thang!

Looks like this 67 Mustang is gett’n some upgrades - the rear 9” housing is the larger webbed type that did not come in these cars so I hope that means what’s in the chunk is upgraded parts-n-pieces too.
I wanted one of these as a teenager so bad - well damn, I still want one as an old guy!

Looks like this guy is saving an old J-10 4-Wheel Drive - I thought it was a 2WD at first since the front end is sagging so much.

The Jeep I thought was a CJ-7 at first glance as I drove by but it had a decent look to it so I thought I’d give some luv to the TJ.
