NON Chevy’s in the Wild

My buddy had one of those Eddie Bauer Broncos. ‘91 Dark green with the goldish brown top. His had the factory roof rack.

Anybody else ever look at the rear bumpers on those Fords and think they forgot they needed a bumper until the last steps?

“Oh yeah…a rear bumper…”

Absolutely agree on the rear bumper being an afterthought on those Broncos.
I guess Ford got cheap and just slapped a regular truck bumper on in the mid-eighties and had to mount it low to allow room for the tailgate when lowered.

I had an ‘88 Bronco and put an older Bronco flush mount ( very similar to the K5 rear bumper ) bumper on it and was so much better looking than that afterthought Ford used.

Down here in Costa Rica, these are in Coopesa’s parking lot. They are an overhaul facility that we are going to start using.

This bug actually blocked me in today so my coworker jumped in and pushed it back.

Not all FJ45’s were diesel powered and full-floater rear axles but they should have been.
Those are true workhorses no matter what motor they came with - so cool !
