I finally got the Buick!

1971 Buick GS455 Stage1
At this point, I still didn't have proof that it was a stage1 car.
Looked through the glove box, and the original folder for the owners manual was in there.20260830_142507.jpg20260830_142621.jpg20260830_142616.jpg

Found another piece of the Holy Grail in the folder!!
The original Protect-o-Plate!20260808_160433.jpg

Of course they are stamped backwards, so I had to use my trusty cell phone to flip the picture!

Do I have a Stage1 455 engine?

Looked up the Stage1 Registry website, and found where to look for engine stamping.

Yay again! It is a Stage1 block!20260808_170758.jpg
