NON Chevy’s in the Wild

Small monthly car show at Whataburger today.

I’m not a big Mustang guy but I really like this one, the green seemed unusual and I’ve never seen a grew interior before (note that the driver left the keys on the floor! :yikes: ).

A younger lady was driving the Pontiac - good to see the younger generation enjoying old cars.

The Yota was spotted out there in the wild and I liked it enough to drive it home.

I figure this orange thing might be good for Moab - than again, maybe not…

Nice truck!

What options did you check on the build sheet?
I actually found it on the lot with only 6K on it when it was 6 months old - it was the finance manager managers perc program vehicle at a Yota dealer.
I was look’n for new but they took 11K off the sticker ( just before COVID jack’d up all the pricing in 2020 ) and started the full warranty at 6K so I took it home that day.
It’s just a common TRD OFF-ROAD 4WD w/ crawl control ( still have never used it ) and rear locker, Bilsteins, skid plates and the larger rear 8-3/4” fat-pinion 3.90:1, 32-spline axles rear end - basic reliable transportation.

A few from a car show in Orange Beach yesterday - most pics didn’t turn out due to the bright midday sun but here’s the few that did.

Saw this on the way back home.

This is a friend of mine and he restored it in his own garage at his house - it’s perfect !

My buddy built this ‘63 pink Caddy for his wife when she mentioned that she wanted one - it’s as straight and clean as can be - LS3 and 6L90.

If that fairlane was a hard top it'd be my dream vehicle.

And the Travelall is just amazing.

If I had known my burb was going to turn into a project and not my DD, that's what I'd have bought.

A ‘67 Fairlane hardtop is one of my favorite Fords too - the picture does not do this one any justice, it was damn near perfect.

My mom had a red 66 or 67 Fairlane GTA when I was a kid.
It'd be the first car I'd build if I won the lotto.

We called the car the B1TCH.... Because it was beautiful and meaner than h3ll. Lol

We crushed a bunch of 60's Fairlanes and Galaxies in the late 70's. They were "just a family car" back then. Nobody wanted them.
