I didn’t think that the state of Mississippi allowed any foreign made vehicles in it !?!?!

Actually I agree that these things have numerous problems but got to admit that they do have an off-road look to em. They just need some CUCV axles , and a TH400/205 behind a nicely equipped BIG-BLOCK and they’d be ready to go.
You would be surprised how strong those axles are, kind of like Toyota axles.
I would be putting 44" tires on them but they have taken more abuse than d44
It just needs a gm drivetrain swap
Some of the older heavier GVWR versions used a Dana 60 ( and Powr-Lok ) out back - that being said so did some South American Land Cruisers.
Added note: I got to think’n about this and just for the sake of good info I should be a little more clear on the old hybrid L/R rear Dana axle - it’s an odd piece that very closely resembles a 60 but looks taller yet narrower as far as the chunk goes.
The S/A foreign market L/C ones were absolute 60 series chunks.

Full rewiring and some other stuff. Door hinges come to mind.
This homemade creation Tundra belongs to a buddy of mines son - it’s got 6.17’s D60’s front-n-rear 44” Boggers and he put a turbo ( cheap universal kit ) on the Yota 4.7 and ended up smok’n the transmission in it.
I asked him if he was gonna fix it or change everything out to Chevy stuff - he said it depends on how much he likes his newest toy sitt’n next to it.
The other truck is a GMT400 and has enormous 5-Ton axles in it ( no idea why…) and is awaiting a nasty big block for swamp racing.
All this proves that Red-Necks can’t put any money away because of things like this
I don’t believe that either of these trucks should ever be driven on the street but they are in Alabama so who knows…

Swung into the parking lot to get a pic of the J10, looked over my shoulder and saw the Wagoner across the street. They looked surprisingly intact for the coast.
Continuing the FSJ photos. This one has a small lift and gets used for boat hauling duties regularly. I may have even posted it once before.

Loose the wheels and light bar and it would be a good looking truck for sure.
Forgot to add this one - it appears to be an E-350/450 4x4 conversion. I’m betting the black paint on the roof is miserable on cooling the living quarters in the Florida summertime direct sunlight and heat.

Yeah I'll never keep an rv roof black. Even brilliant white rv is harder to keep cool
