I had a red one like the yellow one.
1979 mgb roadster. I threw a rod in the engine.
Was going to put a 3.8 v6 Buick engine but in anything newer than 75 in CA it would have been a nightmare so I parted it
My Brother had a 1980 MGB ( I never knew what the difference was with the addition of the “B” ? ) and while he was away attending business in Desert Storm for Uncle Sam and I drove it for a few months while I was putting a SBC in my old FJ40 TLC - at 6-1” and 200lbs. back then it was a tight squeeze.
I drove it with the top down mostly not because I liked it but it made it a whole lot easier to get in and out of.
Pretty clean first gen 4-Runner.
Old and new - times have changed…
