NON Chevy’s in the Wild

Friend of mine in the late 90's in HS had one of the Buick equivalents (the gramma spec one, not the Turbo GN). His older brother had killed the V6 so he and his dad swapped in a decent Chevy 350 they had and a 700R4. Thing was a menace...mainly because it still had the narrow little whitewall tires on those narrow rims with the wire hubcaps.

You’re just a big ole Pimp at heart!
Funny story…
I worked at a Cadillac/Pontiac dealer in 80-81, and there was a pimp that drove a 70’s Eldo in for service a few times while I worked there. It had custom chromed peace signs in front of the two big round headlights, huge chromed grille and the leading edge to about 6” back on the front of the hood, a continental tire kit on top of the decklid, Cadillac spoked wheels and whitewalls, padded vinyl top, and a leopard pattern fur covered dash. No mistaking that car around town!

lol Overlanding in the extreme.

It kind of reminds me of the old Toyota YR model vans, I’ve always been surprised that you never see any form of them lifted even though they had straight axles.
