I still kick myself for not buying one years ago that was mostly stock with a 2.0L and 5 speed swapped in. Swapper and purchaser said it was a rocket ship and great to drive.
Back in the late ‘90’s a buddy built one with Yota running gear - 22RTE and high-pinion chunk axles 5.29’s with D/L’s S.O.A. and some fat 35” TSL’s.
Just enough power to be fun and still lite enough to let the wide Swampers help float it in the swamp - one of the funnest 4x4’s I’ve ever driven !
I should mention he was passing me close to 65-70mph as my lane slowed.

This Comet made a big show at the track last night with his one tire fire. Car was decently quick though
I doubt he will roll it over on a speed bump at the mall.
A high speed roll over on the road will be deadly.
