My truck got infected with death wobble:(

This morning I went for a little joy ride to get a paper and was able to notice it, Ive been running just a rebuilt 60 and no stabalizer and have been fine,

damn death wobble

here we go again:doah:

Good luck with that "2 wheel boogie".......Been there done that!

How long have you been riding it withot DW? You have crossover? Check the castor and play with tire pressure. Good luck.

ive a had a little steering wheel shake for maybe a hundred miles, today hit the speed bump though and it went into effect and because a stage 3 death wobble:crazy:

im going to rotate the tires and have someone crank the wheel back and forth while i look for movement..im honestly wondering if my steering box is a bit worn out from the abuse. I do have hydro assist I have just not installed it yet

honestly I cant remember i ordered it months ago, it was rockstompers or the other place,

I under 200.00 i think

came with the ram, lines, adapter and fittings and hardware

then I have the diy4x diff mount and a mount for the tie rod

Under $200 with lines- please check and see. Sounds like a good deal if it included lines. I'm off to visit diy4x now.

sounds to me like you just need to get off your duff and install those parts! :D Problem solved.

loks like I have the rock logic kit from blazin off road, 240.00

if i remember right he is a vendor here, I actually have 2 of his kits to install:doah:

I have 39.5" Iroks, so I understand, but when I had 1 replaced in the front and balanced, it made a world of difference on the DW issue. Then, I went and had an alignment done. WOW!, the I went and put BBs in all the tires. DW gone. Until I dropped the truck off the jack one day and bent the stabilizer and the tie rod. replaced stabilizer, but still have the DW. time to realign.

Balance, balance, balance.

get a stabilizer too. heck get a double. i had reallllllllly bad wobble on my 38s, between 25-35mph it was undriveable it would shake so bad the body would bang up and down on the frame. i bought a dual shock stabilizer and it fixed the problem like 70%

a stabilizer i feel is a band-aid not a proper fix

for sure. stabilizer is a band-aide and a poor one at that. dual stabilizer is a mask.

i can say I was real proud ti have 10-12 inch lifted truck, on a welded up suspesion on coils and big tires that rode smooth and went down the road straight....with no sway bar:wink1:

but all this trying to fly though the air, climbing on trucks and pushing cars around with the tires seemed to have cought up with the poor thing who would have figured :dunno:..

Ill swap the tires tomorrow, get it aligned and see where im at, then put the hydro assist on and get the box rebuilt next week. The box I fear is part of the problem.

for the hard landing issue I have some bump stops planned and these shiny things called cings..or kang coilovers..I dunno much about em but they look sexy..:pimp:

alright this morning i rotated the tires...took care of most of it,

the tires are pretty cupped from putting too many miles on it when the toe was not even close:doah: o now with those tires in the back it feel like i have a mild case of river dancers in the bed of my truck.

so how to i fix these?

1)go buy two new tires and consider these spares for the truck and buggy

2) make a nice video and burn these off a little bit:cool1:

3) take them off road and "accidently pop a tire and warranty it out under my 4wp warranty, cood take a while to slice one..my luck I would kill a good one instead

4) just run them and they will even out?
