what a day.

Im so tired and only got one side down. I may be rolling with one for a while unless i sack up and just power through it.

let me tell you it was a pain welding these up. I did it in about 12 passes per edge so 24 total. I did get a chance to get some good practice in though..

Here is the results and final pics!

Best i could do with flux core action

That looks ****ing awesome.

Does the bending of the metal, really weaken it so much that it needs to be welded?
Or, is it just overkill?

well i didnt have a big ole Brake to bend it. So i cut 6 big slits in the bend marks and left 6 1in spots attached and then bent it. I had to weld up the slits i made.

SACK UP!!!:haha:

Looks killer Chris...one more thing to get high-centered on:haha:
Jk.

Now go finish the other side!!!:woot:

Looks killer! Thats where having a Stick Welder as well really helps the situation for bigger welds. One pass, done. :waytogo:

Thats nice Chris, one of the mods I always suggest to YJ and TJ guys, pretty easy to do

Got my York hooked up tonight.

Said F kilby and made my own alternator pulley. Went to the local mower shop and got a v belt pulley that fit perfect agianst the serp pulley and the hole lined up that i was able to fit a socket in it to hold it centered. checked it for runout and welded it to the serp pully.

Now i just need a tank.

Sweet! Was Kilby taking too long? Looks good! Way to think out of the box.

No. kilby can suck a hairy sack with there outrageous prices lol. Ithink thats why they do not list prices on their site because it would make people vomit.

they want $125 for their york bracket
I think $70 for the alternator serp/vbelt pulley.

:haha::haha:

I used scraps left over from my Rocker gaurds to make the bracket, plus 4dollars in bolts, and i made my pulley for 25 bucks
