here's another fun one. I've searched high and low, can't find the right type plug for this. I'm assuming it's the fill plug?

Was missing when I got it.
Thread pattern looks to fine for NPT

In one of the pictures is a 1/2 npt plug and its way to small.

What size plug and thread pattern should this be?

Where the rag is? Kinda looks like it. The fill plug is in the middle of the back side, 1/2” NPT

Ahh gotcha. Idk why it just clicked after I posted lmao.

So I guess my question is then, since the end of the speedo cable needs that piece to thread onto, what's the name of it?

Hmm I swear I saw a piece like that in my last box of loose parts. I'll go thru it all later tonight
Well thanks my dudes. I think I can get it figured out from here.

Ah crap. I think I tossed it! Now that I've seen a picture of what it looks like I remember thinking it was a part of the brakes or something but I had all new brake parts

And here's looking down the hole on my transfer case. Am I seeing this right, I'm missing the shaft with the gear too arent i?

Nope false alarm I never had the pieces. I just found the piece I thought it tossed and its for sure a brake line adaptor of some sort.. Apparently the jimmy originally had a Dana 20 transfer case but he got rid of it for this np205

So it looks like I need both the gear and the adaptor that screws into the end

Ok, supposedly there's supposed to be a letter stamped somewhere on this np205.
Its not on the serial plate that I can see, where should it be so I can find the proper speedo gear stuff.

This page says its on the side but I'm not seeing it yet. Granted this tcase is covered in crud.

the letter is stamped on the pencil gear it shelf not on the tcase. All you know for sure is you have 6 teeth on the drive gear. going to take some math, need tire size, and ring and pinion ratio to figure out. I am clueless where to start thou. I am sure some here will know.

Well tire size are 35's. That's all I know off the top of my head lol.
